Group Desert Safari
Enjoy a 7-hour Dubai desert safari tour to the Red Sand Desert with a small group. You can stop to take pictures and look at the wide views as you drive. Only experienced off-roaders should go dune bashing in Dubai, so if you want to see the desert for what it is, the only and best thing to do is take a tour. With this small-group trip, you can climb the steep “Big Red” dune and learn about Emirati traditions after your 4WD bash. Start with sandboarding and a camel ride, if you want, and end with dinner and shows at a desert camp.

Before you leave:
- Every vehicle is fully insured and has safety features like roll bars, seat belts, GPS, and a first aid kit.
- The tour schedule depends on religious holidays. According to UAE law, certain activities (mainly Tanoura dance and belly dancing) and alcoholic drinks won’t be available on Islamic holidays.
- Shisha is free in the area set aside for it. There are extra fees for shisha on the table.
- Please keep in mind that this is a tourist activity, not a cultural one! In the desert safari dubai, it can be cool from November to January and very hot from June to September. Please bring water and snacks for the trip, as you won’t be able to get anything to eat or drink until you reach the camp.
- Please note that the schedule is subject to change for religious or other reasons that might make it impossible for some events to happen.
- You must get in touch with the local provider at least 24 hours before the tour to set up the exact time of pick-up.
- Hard dune bashing is not recommended for people who get car sick or have injuries.
Pickup and Return
You can get picked up anywhere in Dubai except inside the mall. The price includes pick-up and drop-off from any hotel or residential building in Bur Dubai, Deira, Karama, Oud Metha, Al Qusais, Al Jafliya, Al Rashidya, Al Barsha, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and downtown, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Jumeirah, and Sheikh Zayed Road. Only private transportation is available from Sharjah, Ajman, Al Furjan Al Maha Resort, Bab Al Shams, Jebel Ali Resorts, Expo Village Hotels, Al Maktoum Area Hotels, Jebel Ali Palm Hotels, and Dubai Parks hotels and resorts. You can’t get picked up in the Hatta area or in places outside of Dubai. Email and WhatsApp will let you know when and where to be picked up.
What to look out for:
Get picked up and go straight to the desert safari Dubai
One of the tour reps will pick you up from the place of your choice and drive you to the Red Dunes of Al MADAM, which is about a 45-minute drive. Here, you can look at how beautiful the dunes look and how their colors change as the day goes on. The next 35 to 50 minutes will be an exciting time of hard dune bashing. Then you’ll keep going across the dunes until you reach the camp in the desert.
Camp in the desert, show, and drop-off
At the camp, take a short camel ride, design your hands with henna, which is a traditional Eastern art, and watch traditional dancing show, belly dancing, and Tanoura dancing. At the camp, you can also smoke hookah, look at sand art, and drink Arabic coffee. When the events are over, you will be taken back to the place you chose.
